Now that you've played some video game tunes, let's see some video games our favorite instrument actually appeared in.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
(Super NES, 1995)

    Hendrixie Kong?
Hit the target hard enough at the end of a level, and Dixie Kong will unsheath her axe and start rockin'.

Game & Watch Gallery 3
(Game Boy Color, 1999)

In the Music Room, you can hear Yoshi and friends play music from the game. To "unlock" the Music Room, you must earn three stars.

EarthBound
(Super NES, 1995?)

    Musica
Fourside is the home of "Musica," a guitar-shaped enemy. Here are his stats:
HP: 292
PP: 0
Off.: 69
Def.: 85
Speed: 21

Monster Max
(Game Boy, 19??)

    Monsters prefer the 3-string guitars.
This is the box art for Monster Max. I'm not sure yet if guitars actually appear in the game.

Wayne's World
(Super NES, 1992)

    Excellent.
In this excellent platform game, you are Wayne Cambell, venturing through many excellent levels to save your friend Garth. You attack by strumming your guitar, which shoots out "riffs" at the bad guys. Also, in the second level you can see some excellent guitars hanging in the background. I recommend this game to everyone. Not!
